  1. Please take a close look at Moltex and Elysium. These use molten chloride salts (basically table salt) to carry the fuel salt and as a heat transfer medium. The list of advantages over traditional PWR (large or small) is extensive. The biggest bring they can literally burn used “spent” fuel to make 20x more energy per kg of fuel and cut the radioactive life by 1000x.

  3. A professional engineer will have already assessed the evidence that CO2 causes climate change. Over the last 2000 years we have had two warm periods and two cold periods. Both before humans started burning fossil fuels. Atmospheric carbon therefore had no effect on those cycles. CO2 has much the same infrared absorption as air. How does that make it a warming gas? Carbon levels increased and decreased over every temperature cycle. But it always happens AFTER the temperature changes. How can that be causative? Cold seas absorb more CO2. Warm seas absorb less CO2. The peak of the last cold period had CO2 at 180ppm. The climate has warmed thereafter. It reached 200ppm in 1950. The CO2 “hockey stick” kicked off after 1950. It’s now at 400ppm but the rate of climate change has not steepened. Where is the real evidence that CO2 causes climate change. Engineers to answer please. Politicians can shut up.
