  1. It was clear that making a statement as the BxP did would be distorted by their opponents. But the EU at least for now is a confederation of nation states. IT IS NOT A COUNTRY in its own right. However, the EU is heading rapidly towards becoming a nation in its own right. That change has not been put to the population it's just being imposed from above. Nigel and team were right to make their statement.
