  1. Engineers building complex equipment during WW2 all thought in three dimensions. These days nobody does. CAD Computers allow basic 2D thinking to be expanded just enough.

  2. The computer capable of designing nuclear bombs was built by the British to crack the German Enigma machine code. However, it was kept locked away because the Soviets continued with a version of the Enigma machine. They had no idea MI5 was listening to every conversation.
