I hope Peter is right about the Turks helping Ukraine. But I suspect they won’t want to get caught. So those drones are more than likely going all the way around from Odessa.

Russians lie all the time about their wonder weapons. Reality is much more believable. Think about their new tanks and fast jets. All blow but no go.

Putin is using this debacle to to draw media interest away from his failures in Ukraine. Iran is simply a proxy of Russia. As is Syria.

while Russia wasn't looking, Ukraine has moved troops across the Dnipro. That could run behind the trenches into the highly fragile flanks.

@shamogidash This Russian attack on Ukraine was planned around 2005, when they installed a puppet government. The proxy war in Donbas kicked off after The Maidan revolution. The puppet leaders in the South and East were never removed. They are the only reason Russia took as much as they did.

Wheat survived just fine during the Roman Warm Period and the Medieval Warm Period. It will be just as happy through the current warm period. 1875 was at or about the median temperature. Outside current politics there is no reason to believe that 2375 will be any warmer than 1875.
