  1. Lithium is needed for batteries but it’s a small percentage. Thankfully iron, phosphorus and manganese are cheap and plentiful. This makes stable batteries that don’t self ignite. The old nickel/aluminium/cobalt should be scrapped. How will this particular lithium mine operate? If it’s a brine then extraction is easy.
