  1. Peter. Please look at the molten salt reactor (MSR) technology of Moltex. They use chloride. It’s non corrosive when there’s no oxygen. Fluoride in other MSRs is always corrosive. More importantly Moltex reactor is cheap same cost as gas fired. BUT they burn nuclear waste which is free or even a negative cost. They get paid to take it.
