  1. Even including the cancer deaths (due to soviets pretending nothing had happened) the total is less than a hundred. Compare that to oil or coal.

  2. Nuclear power using molten salt reactors remove all of the active hazards which destroyed Chernobyl and Fukushima. That are fully passive safe. They don’t have steam boilers so that can’t explode. Don’t have sealed fuel rods do they can’t explode. Don’t contain water so that can’t separate into explosive mixture. Can’t overheat (negative temperature coefficient). Even a worst case scenario would just leave it sitting until the fuel was used up. Standby safety systems are not needed as there is nothing explosive to contain.
