  1. The Tzars were every bit as brutal and incompetent as the Soviets and the current Tzar. They conquered, raped, pillaged, stole and went broke many times over. The Soviet system could only exist by the use of slave labour (gulags).

  2. RAF kept the Luftwaffe at bay though at the time were accused of not doing enough. The German blitzkrieg had been hyped up with Pervatin (amphetamine). By the time the Panzers had paused near Dunkirk, the German foot soldiers had crashed out of their drug fuelled high.
