My experience is if you go to a tire store (Firestone for example) for anything but tires be prepared to be ripped off big time. I went to a Firestone based on a coupon for coolant flush and fill. When I got the call on the estimate of coolant change with add ons the bill would have been $300+. I’ve been buying tires for years from Conrad’s a local tire store. Beware of the free tire rotation and inspection. They estimated $900 in repairs for my wife’s 10 year old vibe. My local mechanic fixed what was necessary for $200. It’s a shame you don’t do rants on investment advisors.

The biggest and most traumatic RV “crash” is when you pull your 100K RV off the dealer lot and take that 20% depreciation hit. The good news. Only 240 monthly payments and you’ll own it.

1984 was prologue to an unimaginable nightmare fueled by corporate greed and government incompetence.

RVs are selling in record numbers. Factories are slapping them together as fast as they can. Nobody is taking Lehto’s advice. Caveat Emptor.

Diana Richards I’d be interested in knowing what the accident rate is for RVs. Add in the distraction of a smartphone.

Diana Richards ask a policeman how many accidents are now caused by distracted drivers.

Additional Mopar warranty exclusions in the factory Max Care Warranty. “Wear and Tear” “Design Defects”.

My wife and I came back from Windsor two months ago and the US border agent essentially asked us why we spent our time and money in Canada. We usually go to Canada thru Niagara Falls. Never had a problem there or entering into Canada. The car ahead of us moved on in after a chat fest with the agent. Good cop, bad cop?

I’m calling for a lawsuit against Ore Ida for marketing potatoes grown and processed in Idaho as “French Fries”. The name should be “Freedom Fries” to show that this consumer product is 100% American.

From an historical standpoint this is reminiscent of what would happen to motorists from the north driving south to Florida before the interstate Highway system. In small southern towns a policeman would control the traffic light at the only intersection in town. He would switch the light from green to red to capture drivers from out of town for crashing the red light. You would be taken to a local judge and offered essentially pay or go to jail. Back in the day your local AAA trip planner could mark your TripTik to identify these traps.

In the past twenty years technology has made it possible to track and monetize every moment of your existence. Fueled by corporate greed and government incompetence. Enjoy!

I doubt if the warranty company is shamed by the exposure. Probably, worried about negative impact on warranty sales.

I’ve ordered stuff from Amazon. Most delivered by Amazon. Some by UPS. Usually arrives in a day. USPS same torturous route as yours. What usually happens it shows out for delivery that day, but shows up next day. WE NEED the TRUTH from someone in the USPS system.

Louisiana. Decades ago in the AM, in a thunderstorm in a small Louisiana town, a garbage truck drove into an out of state car. None of the garbage truck occupants had a driver’s license. The car driver was charged. The driver went to court. In Louisiana at the time there was no “no contest” plea. The defendant had to choose “guilty” or trial by jury. Guess the outcome.

Twenty five years ago when the local suburban police department was hiring they would get one hundred applicants. This year when hiring they got seven applicants.

You Tubers have been fined for videos in National Parks. Fines for video of the White House, Lincoln and Washington Memorial next.

Had something similar happen when I wanted to lease a Nissan Frontier for my son decades ago. Saw a lowball lease price in classifieds. Went to the dealership and signed papers. Lease truck wasn’t available? Came back several times after call by salesman that truck was in. No truck. The lease was the lowest monthly lease I’d seen advertised. Truck appeared at dealership after I called the local TV station I-team.

It is being replaced by the ever popular quiz show….”You Bet Your Life”?

Does not buying that $90,000 Jeep Grand Wagoneer when you have a $40,000 household income and no money down included in that list of rules?

And when you cross the border to and from Canada?

So that’s what autonomous vehicles are really all about.
