  1. Anyone alive for decades can see one element in our entertainment that has changed over time. More and more use of automatic weapons in movies and gaming. In the fifties and sixties you might see one or two killings in a film or video. Now in order to achieve the same level of intensity the killings are more graphic, bloody and violent. That subconscious barrier has been lowered that separates horror and fantasy from reality. The most chilling thing is the cowardice in congress to stop it. At one time there was an assault weapons ban.
