  1. Long ago and far away the average person bought dividend paying stocks to add to the cash flow in their retirement. Somewhere in the past fifty years mom and pop were told you don’t want dividends you want GROWTH. So your portfolio lost 30% in the past year. If you don’t make withdrawals and live long enough you’ll be a millionaire just like you’ve been told.
