  2.  @floppynwah8141  Men did not need to marry young, they just needed a young fertile wife whatever their own age. Jewish men were not allowed to learn the Kabbala until they had reached 40 years of age as they were not considered wise enough to understand it until mature enough, so it seems to me that such things as age would not be a factor for the man regarding marriage, as much as the responsibility and whether he could support his wife and possible children. Also a holy man generally are not expected to marry, in most cultures Celibacy would not have odd for a godly man.

  3.  @scurvydog20  I think what Connor was trying to say, was that governments will do what they do, sinful or not, but the church should certainly not allow what God calls an abomination to happen in a sanctified place devoted to God. The sanctity of marriage, the Bible states is between a man and woman, anything else is " unholy" or secular.

  6.  @moose6869  Yes, I remember a scripture regarding not being boastful about your good deeds or charity " Do not let your right hand know what your left hand is doing " I find it quite distasteful when people gossip about how they've helped someone in need, not considering in their efforts to impress people with their virtue, that they are humiliating the person helped by telling others about their private business. I'm reasonably certain that that kind of inconsiderate behaviour does not get you any brownie points with God. 😁👍

  7.  @robertbeisert3315  Isn't that an assumption, that Adam and Eve were intimate before they were married?. Doesn't God effectively marry them, when he creates Eve and calls her Adams helpmate, He gave Eve to Adam in much the same way as Father's do with their daughters, before that pesky incident with the apple, which many people seem to see as a metaphor for having sex.

  8.  @blindlobster  If a prideful thought negates good works, then all one has to do is immediately repent and the good works are no longer tainted, as is the penitent. That's why it's harder to be a good person than a bad one, I think, because you have to be hyper aware of your own thoughts and behaviours and correct them, by " killing the flesh" , retraining yourself so to speak, until your behaviour resembles Christ, God usually provides a solution for the many pitfalls Christians may face. It may be an assumption on my part, but if a person performs good works because they suffer some angst about their salvation, then they be operating in unbelief, which again needs to be repented. If we trust God to guide us, He does, that's when a Christian can receive the " peace that passes all understanding" and know they are saved, doing good works because they feel grateful and full of God's love, Agape.

  10. It makes me laugh that these lunatics like Whoopie have such planks in their own eyes while pointing out the mote in the eyes of others. Such arrogant projection! Forcing others to have the same hivemind as they have, by bullying and insulting seems to me to be an accurate description of the very behaviour the "woke" display.
