I think it was lovely to see all the flags. 🇬🇧 I think on some collective psychological level, those who are not "woke" were asserting their patriotism, I imagine the reason that places like America and Gibraltar have their flags on display as such a part of their culture, is that their flags ( autonomy) were or are under threat. I'm hopeful, like Peter, that this was a show of " Britishness" and that more people are waking up to this lunacy. I'm also hopeful that it put a few wokesters noses out of joint too!, not to be spiteful, but because any time they find their crazy narrative challenged, they double down and push evermore non - sensical garbage that becomes hard to ignore, even for the most insular of people. The British are a patient, tolerant lot, but sooner or later they are going to say "Enough!" . I reached that point in 2016, after Brexit and the BBC's response to Nigel Farage's Brexit celebrations. Like Peter I stopped reading papers or listening to the news, because I was so sick of the "isms" and "phobes" levelled at people like me who love their country. I hope they get so ridiculous in their demands that absolutely nobody can ignore a moment longer. 😁
