  2. There seems to be a swathe of madness sweeping the world like a contagion, to which most of us are immune, thankfully. I'm 70 next year and have never seen anything like it before! I'm like the kid who could see the Emperor was naked, and looking around at people, in astonishment as they act as though everything's normal. It's that that convinces me that this is an orchestrated destabilisation of democracy all over the western world by some powerful, shadowy figures ( not Russia) and that the woo flu was revenge on Donald Trump for the hard line he took with China, maybe with the collusion of the secret services to get rid of him. I'm now a " conspiracy theorist" as it seems to be the only explanation as to why so many unhinged people seem to have gained such power.
