Yes, host nations do have the right to some gratitude from refugees, or at least, enough not to commit crimes, and to adhere to the laws of their host country, refrain from terrorist acts and show gratitude for their newly acquired freedoms. In Britain we have had refugees complaining and setting fire to the barracks they were given, saying it wasn't good enough for them, but apparently good enough for British soldiers. Refugees have been given a sense of entitlement by the EU and the Marxist left.
