@slt5557 Absolutely agree, she is very insecure, isn't that why many actors become actors?, the attention and " love" of the audience makes them feel validated and fills what's missing in them, which is a strong sense of self. I also believe when in the company of self assured people with real status, she feels inadequate, hence the claims of being treated badly because of "colour" to salve her ego, rather than the fact she was out of her depth, didn't know how to behave as a Royal and refused to take any guidance as to Royal protocol and decorum. Self esteem issues or a huge ego and possibly a chip on her shoulder contributed to any dislike she has fostered in Britain. I've asked people why they dislike her now, generally they say it's because she showed disrespect to the Royal family, the Queen in particular and by extension the British people. It makes her look like she has a huge ego, that she feels herself more important than thousands of years of history and didn't want to take her place in the "pecking order" that didn't allow her to be the star of the show! But if you look past that appearance, the apparent arrogance could be a shield for a very insecure and needy person. 👍

Understandable, but still unacceptable in a civilised society. It should be treated like a crime of passion and a judge should treat it as such and have compassion and leniency, but the law applies to everyone and in every circumstance. We are encountering just this kind inequality in how justice is dispensed, currently because certain minorities are given softer punishments because of " trauma", "oppression" and "mental health issues" which just seems to encourage this entitled behaviour. In Britain, the law is supposed to apply to all " Without fear or favour" and despite his situation, it's still illegal to assault someone. I hope he gets a compassionate judge and that those infantile " protesters" get prison time. But blurring the strict guidelines of a civilised society on behalf of feelings, no matter how righteous, is not the way, we see evidence of that coming hellscape, because these people use feelings to justify criminal acts. No one should above the law.

When i found myself alone, without enough money to have light or heat and feeling hopeless, Professor Jordan Peterson helped me to " pull myself together" with that "make your bed" phrase. In a situation where i wasnt bothering to wash or clean my teeth daily, this one act that i made myself do every morning, brought me back to the land of the living. People dismiss it because they dont understand what it represents, its not just about being weak or strong, everybody has times when they are both. Its about what it represents. Often depressed people feel worthless or a failure, this something you do, not for anyone else, you do it for you. When going to bed at night instead of a rumpled mess, you see the neatly made bed that you made for yourself and it lifts you up. Its seems like a small thing, but it gives you a goal, small though it may be, it also helps you flex and grow or re-grow your self discipline and feel a small sense of achievement that you gradually extend on. One of my next challenges i gave myself to distract me from wallowing , was not to go to bed unless i had cleared my sink, going into the kitchen and not seeing it choked with dishes was so uplifting and i started to feel good about myself again.When you are emotionally beaten down these small victories are the path back to mental and emotional strength.

The ban on the skin fold test is just another way to kill of competition, along with inclusion medals and allowing trans women into women's sports. Competing means people will hone themselves to be better at what they do, when everybody does this you have a nation of fit, healthy dynamic people, well able to defend themselves individually and nationally.
