Yep, British soldiers stood with the black soldiers against the MPs racially motivated attack as did the locals.

@trollmeistergeneral3467 A lot of British people have not heard of this event, many such battles occurred across Britain, like Bristol, Liverpool and Plymouth, not everyone who live in those places know about it either! I know of them because both my parents were here during the war and passed on their experiences. Don't be so quick to call people liars! 😡

@margaretflounders8510 I think it was later than that, it was 2014 or 2015 so every taxpayer paying taxes helped pay for those slaves to have their freedom. 😁👍
