If it is the captain's legitimate worry that they may be prosecuted if someone drowns, then the answer is simple, make them exempt from prosecution ( like all the pill and jab pushers) if a fatality occurs, the French border force who stand by and watch illegals risk their lives should be held equally accountable for any deaths as it stands.

  2. If those captains refuse to do their job or ignore government rules then replace them, they are encouraging more illegals to risk their lives and therefore are part of the problem. Someone needs to remind them that them that they don't make the rules!
