  1. Seems very fair to me, ultimately the EU are responsable for the all of this mess. If they had kept their borders closed, Britain and ireland would not be dealing with this mess. The EU have been waving them through to Britain since Brexit, they could not afford to let Britain succeed without them, in case other members got ideas ! The EU stated this quite openly, the intent was to demoralise us, to be a financial drain on us and to overwhelm our infrastructure, which has gone very nicely for them so far. Of course now we will be accused of being anti-irish, ( Im half irish with a Dublin born Dad, before anyone levels that at me ) while the EU keep expressing their anti-British feelings so im very happy with Britains response, given no doubt, in the full knowledge that the EU would never agree. So now, the irish are forced to put pressure on the EU where it actually and rightfully belongs.
