  1. Man. Earth has a lot of water. If water came from comets, that’s a lot of comets. Carbon fibre seems like a curious choice for a pressure vessel. It seems almost intuitive the glass fibres and the matrix would begin to microscopically ‘crush’ under even moderate loads in the inward direction. Wonder why thick, machined aluminum, or welded steel or titanium wasn’t considered or used. What TF do I know. Except I’d have built two, regardless of the material used, and sent one down and up for as many cycles it took to eventually implode.
