  1.  @Simon-ir1xj Yes. Reminds me of flash floods in Arizona, when a monsoon hits. In one tragic case, almost an entire family was wiped out having a picnic at a dry river bed, in crystal clear skies. But it rained tens of miles upstream, and they got caught in the flood. I think it was only a few years back - want to say NW of Phoenix, but not sure.

  2. I get how addicting it is to scramble through a tight squeeze, hoping for a giant cavern on the other side. But nope, if I can’t slither through easily and back out backwards, nope - aint doin it. And sure as hell aint going without a buddy and a rope on either a harness or an ankle.
