  3. Well, if it bears scrutiny, why wouldn’t she? I don’t particularly care about the issue, and it happens to be legal in my state of Arizona, but I know exactly the harm that would befall me if I got hooked. My career choices and occupations prohibit it, which has been a good deterrent for myself, although I’d also like to think I’d choose to remain drug free. I do think there’s a big disconnect between the spirit and intent of legalized, responsible marijuana use and reality, however. Maybe I should care about the negative impacts and consequences, but it’s simply not an issue I’m prepared to waste any energy on.
