  1. Around 1:50, Ed discusses Petter’s opinion that current large and complicated machines would be unable to be quickly produced in a long term conflict is something I’ve oft thought about. Based on a recommendation by Ed to peruse something from HushKit, I stumbled on an interview of a RAF F-4 driver (based in Germany? Not sure…) where the pilot anticipated a remaining life span of 2 or 3 days should the WP invade. It makes me wonder how long strategists believe aircraft will survive before being wiped out in a global, conventional conflict, and what designs would/could be quickly produced to make up for attrition. The F-4 pilot also made a chilling comment regarding using nuclear weapons “soon” to stop the surge.
