  4. Reminds me of the progressive witch hunts on people who question and fact check the climate narrative, among all other criticisms of the far left ideologies. How many careers and reputations were destroyed for those who dared criticized mask mandates, later proven correct? Wasn’t civilization supposed to have been doomed by now because of climate catastrophe? The far left elevated McCarthyism to a fine art. I guess that’s one way for the marxists to get their revenge.

This is an excellent connection you’ve made, and the habitual immediacy young progressives appear to mete out their idea of justice could very well coincide with the advent of social media - at least when it was learned social media could be used as a political, social, and cultural club to keep conservatives shut up, in line, or banished or exiled.
