A few days ago I saw some gloating Vatniks in the west comment that the spring offensive wasn't coming and that it was all a ruse by Zelensky to obtain western money and weapons in the face of inevitable and imminent Russian victory (it immediately got super-antisemitic). The dam thing is clearly a distraction by Russia and there is indication now that last night's offensives were the beginning of the larger counteroffensive. Happy D-Day.
