Honestly, I've been consistently impressed by the way historical YouTube channels have made economic history interesting– Extra History's series on the South Sea Bubble and the evolution of paper money are particularly outstanding. And of course anytime someone decides to make a video about the Opium Wars.

  2. Someone once claimed this to me in Israel of all places in an attempt to discredit the kibbutz movement ("my aunt was as left-wing as you could get without being a Nazi). Maddening.
