  1. Interesting fact (I won’t say “fun”). Nazi Germany’s Jewish “grandparent” rule is why anyone with a Jewish grandparent is eligible to become an Israeli citizen today. It is actually contradictory to Jewish religious law and is causing a huge political crisis between the religious minority and the secular majority here today.
