android is so far removed from linux that it really doesn't count

a large company like Canonical (Ubuntu and its deriviates which Linux Mint is) or Red Hat (Fedora)? That the laptops touchpad was unresponsive sucks, was it a rather new laptop? Perhaps the drivers weren't installed in the Live Session. managing background processes? like systemd? or rather something akin to Windows Task Manager? We have a bunc of those: on the commandline top/htop/btop, or all distros come with one GUI based out of the gate...

knowing RMS is totally required knowledge when it comes to GNU+Linux.

67. var contains log files... silverblue users are having an existential crisis over that statement.

why use nemo when you can use Nautilus/Thunar/Dolphin/MC?

Its not on the Linux Community to "fix" their anti-cheat software. Also CS2 runs flawlessly.

@crazystupidgamer well sure. And if you don't like bazzite you can simply rebate to another immutable like Silverblue, sodalite, kinoite etc. it's great.
1
utter lack of proper touchpad gestures ON Fedora? Do you run Gnome or KDE? The former has pretty great gesture support.

too complicated? As a regular user you don't need to know all those concepts, or need to compile everything by hand. But yeah its a paradigm shift for sure and it takes time to grasp a new one, same with workflows. Also, why not getting out of the comfort zone? Eventually Windows will be total shit (like more shit than today or with copilot), you don't want that done onto you, right?

@sonofasalesman well what do you expect from a flash dump of "things someone need to know" about linux
