@csfelfoldi I was born into a tiny shoebox stacked one over another 40 years ago and it was already an old development. If what you say was correct this trend would come after 'the Communism' (wooo!!!) has fallen. What just happened is that one mafia won over another mafia, and they simply continue with the program, same methods, just adding different diversions to it, so the dumb crowd had something to complain about.
History never repeats itself but it surely has a refrain. Every conflict is always preceded with years of discussion about shared values.
It is good to have a discussion, sometimes we need to be very polarized.... but we should never loose the point of the discussion, that is to find a solution that works for everyone if possible. Blindly claiming your right tears down the consensus. Some ideas can be aborted not because they are flaw in significant manner but because their source simply doesn't fit into ones worldview.
People like Orban or PiS guys claim their own definition of law, order, they claim they represent best their country.
I spoke to many people from my country, and I need to agree, that pols believe that PM is a leader to represent only his own people, who supported him, his own Poland.
People did not base their choice thinking that this or other candidate is most capable to handle interest of possibly the entire nation, he should push forward exclusively one agenda.
People like Donald Tusk, who is professional and could work with left and right are pushed out, too confusing.
This is why we have such interesting international politics.
