  1. this is insane. Why is it so difficult to push that process to the other side of the Mediterranean? Make it the only place where they can apply. Create charter cities, not refugee camps. Allow them to apply there for whatever reason they have and make this process simplified as much as possible. No one gets legal passage through other way than this, and anyone already in the EU without papers gets transferred to be processed. Currently they are really forced to take this dangerous trip. Think about how this will end when this rust bucked sank.
