@tznwyvuk471 What we had in Poland was similar to what you describe, but honestly I seen the PRL establishment giving power away without fight. Just because it was a complicated process, it was too slow for some parties. There was a lot of lustration, but when they found documents regarding new president Walesa being an ex agent, no one took it serious. After people realized that the new establishment sucks even more, next president was a ex high PRL party member, and he was imho the best so far. And there was no power grab or anything. What didn't change is the general direction of politics in Poland. they use the same methods as in socialism and votes are constantly devaluated. They just use a different banners, but in this tumbler of changes it is easier to rob the people and justify laws that western countries consider radical.
