People in the west are still convinced that this is some eastern drama in a far away land. Please, realize that Putin is fully capable, both technically and mentally, of putting a big hole in the house you are at and killing your closest. A guy holding a gun could be dangerous, but mentally unstable one is the one you don't want to be within reach of. Putin and his buddies have a global reach.
