Poland never did and never will thrive while we don't value peace and stability. Geographical placement and features make this place great for business and development, but it also makes it easy for foreign powers to simply enter and take over. Independence?! There is no point in winning wars if you are unable to deliver peace. That independence would end up tossing our reliance from west to east like it always was, not allowing us ever to become self reliant, and full blooded member of the club. It is just way too easy in PL to make money through shouting about "independence".

@vincenzostr4488 I don''t think 500+ would be enough to convince all different groups. You also need combination of TV content, censorship of some ideas, church agitation, alienation and discouragement of other groups from voting. Without that they would not be so convinced that 500+ is a good idea. We had this family allowance program, per kid, in socialist times, and they did not stick to it, even if it was literally exactly same idea.

@utracyzbielska333 There is a tiny difference between Independence and lack of strong alliances. With how Poland acts now and before, we will have only those like military alliance with the UK, before WWII. Except PL is not an Island. With keeping Polish system in incompatibility with other EU countries, none of them would dare to offer protecting Polish borders. They will rather keep PL as a bumper.
