@andreymotstatic It's your right to disagree. People in Poland have the same right, and not much more, especially minorities. I am from there. I tried to get on political grounds as a simple citizen, but until you are not standing in front of a crowd with some hard claims, you will be unceremoniously flushed. That's why I left and for past 15 years there was not a single day I would regret that decision. It is not a question of left or right, the entire political protocol is inhumane.

@andreymotstatic Ask yourself if you are not confusing democracy with plutocracy resp oligarchy. Majority not respecting rights and not caring about livelihood of minorities I don't consider a Democracy. Single citizen just doesn't matter, rule of militias and fractions. It is not who vote counts, it is who counts the votes. I have no illusions, if the other guy would win, nothing would change. It is not a fault of a single politician. If he or she(buahahaha;) would do something different, pols would just not buy it.

@andreymotstatic Fight? Really? is that what you have to do? I left PL because of that misunderstanding of the relation a government has to a citizen. I live in a country where I simply observe changes happening towards what I imagine as a society I want to be a part of. It's just a common sense. I'm not talking about some liberal haven, Cyprus, a very Orthodox rule, where I am no one, but I feel more respected than among my used to be nation.

@andreymotstatic Well, I'm glad you start to see my point. I do not want to fight for things which in another country are simply a result of dialog between parties, transparent enough to grasp by nearly anyone. I would not even want to fight for that system to persist. Engaging masses in futile struggle is what was done in Poland ever since I remember. When I spend some time in Sweden, with politicians, I came across of an expression 'polska parlamentet' referring where everyone is shouting their causes, there is no certain order and decisions are taken under the table.

TheEriczeppe A lot in your comment that for people from different counties would mean very different things. Probably locally in a subjective way you are absolutely right. The only thing that worries me is generalization and immediate judgment. Flags are good for rising children and than should be dropped. BTW, word patriot comes from a Greek word Πατριδα, that means father's land. If your father has no piece of land and you still waving flags, you are just a tool, a disposable one.

TheEriczeppe My ancestors wore wiped out by proud neighbors, many times over over couple of past centuries and from different sides. I also partially blame it on them, people in that area wore always a bit too proud. Sorry my friend, I can't be serious with you about that topic, I assume you are an adult. and I really don't want to offend your sentiments. No point to continue that exchange. There is nothing any -ism has to offer to me personally.

TheEriczeppe Jag är Polsk men jag har väner i Sverige. Kanske du kommer inte tro på mig, men dom är bara Svenskar. Jag känner till hela problemet. Jag har den storsta respekt till Jimme Åkesson och han är en duktig politiker, men trots allt bara en politiker. Sverige tog hinket över huvud med invandrarna, kanske delvis tack att Polskar gjorde inte det. Jag har inget mot national stolthet. Jag förstår det och jag har sett i Sverige invandrarna som blev stolta över deras nya landet och började vifta med Svenska flaggor. Jag år rädd att nationalismen kommer att förstöra alla dom relationer. Nationena skapades av eliter för bara några hundra år sen. Det är som en religion. Tar inte hinket med nationalismen, min vän.
