We had some Congolese tenants for about a year. All young, and all like to party. Very clean and nice clothes, fancy haircut and shiny stuff. They didn't managed to buy a screwdriver or a dish washer thou. No comment about the condition of the apartment they left, could be worse, there could be a blaze...it wouldn't make much difference thou. They won.

@africaine4889 we had guests from at least 7 African countries in the same building. We tried to accommodate them in a more independent fashion, but the same day all recreated national divisions and moved in with their buddies. They started to point out at each other and say "oh.. these guys are like that..." I tried to explain to them from the beginning that they work on everyone reputation, not just their own. It ended up with police visiting a few times and neighbors complaining all the time. Sorry to say, but they are the only representation who claimed Congo origins we experienced.
