I hate Both of those governments. This is nothing new, History of past millennia is full of examples of Poland acting like a splinter under a fingernail and Ukraine being backstabbing opportunists. This is not the last war of Ukraine this century I belief, they always use the fog of war to make their own gains. My grandfather fought for freedom of Ukraine in the WWI, he was removed from Ukraine after the WWII, just because he was a Pol. I hate russia even more, but there is many russians now in the exile from Ukraine, don't assume the worse of them, the problem is with the elites and opportunists.

You could never be able to pull that off in the peace time, but if someone is in that position...one can always point out on the "higher case" to cancel it all. The biggest victory of Adf Hitr was to prove that the nationalistic interest can be put above any other. Before WWII the idea of Poland was a country ruled by majority Polish government, where co exist many different nations and minority groups. After Adf Hitr, Poland is a place where only Pols can exist as the only group. Any group of Ukrainians has to be expelled to Ukraine, Germans to Germany and so on. This way all debt within the borders goes back to the same group. Zalensky is trying to demonstrate, that Ukraine does not owe nothing to anyone, that anything they receive is a foreign players acting in their own interest. As to why they cannot make an effective counteroffensive... well, redundancy. Ukraine does not have it, in terms of man power. Russians on the contrary throw millions of people. The only way Ukraine could pull that off is only by an absolute technological and tactical advantage. That is why they really need only the most very modern systems.
