  1. Just don't be stupid enough to allow corporations to be sole owner of the product you think you just purchased. If anything gets broken, and you are deprived of right to choose who should service your equipment, you yourself become redundant part of their business. We need regulating producers, they have to be legally obligated to publish the same schematics they use, make the tools they use available for third party service shops and prohibit binding silicon manufacturers with exclusivity deals.
