  1. I don't want non member state to pull the NATO into a full blown conflict. First find a compromise to become a full member and than we can listen to the demands, Recognition of Taiwan was a strategically stupid move (even if I fully support it), Now Russia, Turkey, USA and any other state walking in the imperialistic shoes, will work towards silencing waves of pretentious voices. Guess how China is going to affect that process. Putin is no different, he has a job, and he is effective.
