One of my relatives works in a municipal office, they receive numbers of Ukrainians every day. What she said is that they don't lack enthusiasm, but their expectations are over the roof, she even called some of them "very pretentious" and willing to exploit every benefit there is or isn't. It seams like they are being fed same stories as migrants from other continents, about Europeans giving out fancy careers for nothing. Cm'on, you need at least to be able to have an effective communication with your co workers. English, even if at decent level is just a proxy protocol of communication. I live in Cyprus nearly 20 years, but with my level of Greek I wouldn't dare to demand executive chair, or even his assistance.
