@vitacrown5806 you could actually be right. much wealthier for a reason. Russia's economic strategy throughout least century was to create a buffer of poverty between them and "ever expanding capitalistic civilization" All those republic was under constant influence of Russia, and the fact that they are trying to cut themselves off that influence is what russians conciser a threat.

@vitacrown5806 basically in any way. Hard to find serious investors into an area that can simply be annexed by Russia. Poorest? Still better off than any of the Russian "safety zone" republics. At least there is a way out of that situation.
