I understand Sweden. There is too many migrant workers who will not spend a krona while in Sweden, yet come every year for summer jobs bringing with themselves everything, bread including. They are part of the ecosystem, but not the economy there.

@allloginshavebeentaken2966 Many people actually earned enough to start heir own business back home. My uncle managed to open 3 shops in Kraków. We are not a wealthy family so without picking berries in Sweden he would rather not be able to achieve that, not in Polish reality of that time. Of course not everyone spend their money this way. There is a lot of people who want to work half a year and do nothing for the rest of it. Situation is different when you get a personnummer. Once you start to engage with job office, they start ask questions as to your position, and believe me, you will never be sent picking berries. Sweden smells like freedom to me.

@realgood537 I don't think the amount would be equal for all the countries. It is about setting a minimal for each country so everyone who works there can survive there. Sweden would have to include thousands of people who do not try to stay there, just come for summer jobs. I know exactly how it works because I did it once 20 years ago.
