  1. At the end of the day it is what people want not what is reasonable. I drive a 30 years old nissan and I want to add electric axle to turn it into a hybrid, unfortunately the only company I am aware of making those will not sell to a person. On the contrary, average life of a vehicle in Japan is not more than 5 years, because of culture dictating that people like new things. If I was running a car factory, I would rather sell 2 cars instead of one. There is a problem with battery supply, so before we have full capacity we need to build in a buffer into the culture....
