Although these are older missiles compared to older AGM-88s and Kh-58s but still capable, they have a new one in development

I love the new copium "Ukraine wasnt allowed to strike Russia with western weapons" Bro they had hundreds to thousands of S-300 missles and various ballistic missiles, GMLRS rockets and cruise missiles of their own at the start. They didn't use it against Russia because 1. Russia air defence systems along its borders and 2. Didn't want to provoke Russia in doing what they did at Christmas time 2023.

  26. ​ @riflescientist1744 winning against militaries with 60 year old equipment, little air defence capabilities and an air force made up of MIG 21s and F-4 Phantoms and a few dozen old gen mi-24s and armoured units mostly consisting of Vietnam war era T-64s, old gen T-72s and Korean war era BMP-1s is hardly something to brag about when you have over a thousand F-16s, hundreds of M1 Abrahams tanks, hundreds of Apache gunships, dozens of electronic warfare aircraft and little regard for civilian casualties or "shock and awe" as you call it

  27. ​ @stevebuckley7788 stealth Fighters are still very useful, ones like F-22, F-35 and J-20 are made for attacks on heavily guarded areas with strong air defence batteries and radar, obviously it's up to a point and there's a reason why the USSR and Russia has the world's largest and most advanced air defence systems. Fighters like the Su-57 have all 5th gen technology but are not as stealthy as the other 3, this was intentional as part of Russias doctrine of defence, they can be used against reasonably well guarded air defence systems and radar like navies

Russia may have been winning prior but anyone who is pretending as though this makes Russia look good or bad for Ukraine is absolutely delusional. In fact its just shown the enemies of Russia that you can invade and Russia will do very little about it. Absolutely shocking incompetence, any half decent government would have declared war and mobilised more reserves, Russia has thousands of tanks, IFVs, SPAGs, SAMs, MLRS and a massive air force that they don't even use half of.
