  2. Too much to take in with the 720S. Still not feeling it. The 765 LT looks better. Still feels a bit soulless. It’s very good but too good. Too predictable—like the GTR. Still, nice review.

  4. You can go both ways on this. It is important to remember that the older BMWs were their moniker at the time (and even then, many lamented the even earlier BMWs). Truth be told, things change & evolve, sometimes & somethings for the better and others well, meh. This is not exclusively a BMW phenomenon--overall, I am still in love with the brand & I still thing they make great cars relative to their competitors. A true BMW enthusiast however can critically evaluate and appreciate what is great and what is missing without being a "fan boy."
