HingerlAlois The more you make here, the more you pay as well: in the US for 2018 for single people:: 12% $9,526 to $38,700 22% 38,701 to $82,500 24% $82,501 to $157,500 32% $157,501 to $200,000 I pay 24% income taxes. And all single people get a $12,000 deduction, no questions asked. $24,000 for married. Trump just recently doubled the deduction to make it that amount. So I really pay less than 24% after this deduction is taken into account, more like 12-13% income tax, actually 8% because I will be getting married this year and will get the $24,000 deduction. Plus like I said my state of Georgia sales tax is just 4% We also have free clinics that that doctors and nurses volunteer at, but this isn’t widespread but you can find them. Are you sure you have less homeless than the US? Because the stats I’m finding shows Germany has almost as much while having a much lower population. the immigrants Germany has accepted doubled the amount of homelessness in Germany. I rarely see homeless people. It is very rare for me to see homelessness but it seems to be more common in the very big cities like NYC and LA. I rarely have to go to the doctor as I am 31 years old. I don’t believe in a system where everyone pays the same amount basically. One should be able to choose what type of insurance they want. For example, young healthy people may want to just pay for “catastrophic” health insurance, which also is very cheap but can save you from going bankrupt if something very bad happens.
