  2. It probably wasn't Eastern Orthodox or Roman Catholic because the Council of Agde in AD 506 forbade first and second cousin marriage. in the 11th century they extended it to even the sixth cousin.

  4. funny how you say this when he married cousins himself...I also find it funny you only use hadiths when it is in your favor. If an outsider uses ANY hadiths against you, you will just say, "oh well the hadiths say a lot of things, it is not in the Quran, so..."

  5. Christianity created canon laws forbidding cousins from marrying. Judaism and Islam allow marriage of first cousins, because their religions are outdated and not the truth.
