  1. I know it's because Huawei wants to keep the same design between their joint ventures, but it's still extremely unusual to me that different brands from different manufacturers look the same. Reminds me of when Chrysler put the pentastar and same design language onto three different brands with Dodge, Chrysler and Plymouth back in the day. Edit: Also had that same exact thought at the end, Xiaomi doesn't work with a million different budget automakers and their first car was a smash hit, so why can't Huawei do the same?
