  1. The battery swapping is a good idea only in a pure idealistic sense. It just doesn't make sense to have one infrastructure only per one brand, as the battery suppliers and battery structures are obviously completely different brand per brand. I suspect this kind of brand exclusive infrastructure might be something that the EU would intervene in if it ever became more popular, as it might be seen as extremely wasteful a la how they've always re-established a common charging cable for phones for example.
