  3. It's because they had to put a VW design over the new upcoming Superb, which has always been larger than the Passat. VW is cutting costs by not producing cars like the Arteon or Passat anymore, the most they're giving is this wagon rebadge.

  10. Škoda screwed VW over by revealing the Superb interior before this came out. The Superb (that this is a rebadge of) has a much more stunning interior that is also much more practical. I would praise VW for giving up touch sensitive steering wheel and 2 button window switches but thats beneath the bare minimum, so i wont. I like the boxy look outside though, not so much the smiley face of the non R-line.

  11. The Passat is now a rebadge of the next Superb, so it's based on the Superb where the ID.7 is on the usual VW ev platform.

  13. They most likely would've kept the old size if they made the Passat themselves, but they gave the project to Škoda so this is a rebadged Superb which has always been larger than the Passat.
