"if" using public chargers is doing a lot of work in that sentence.

Crossover: - Popular styling currently - More comfortable for people of all ages to get in and out of - Tall body makes for easier battery integration

@ShittyUserName I don't think you need to climb inside any crossover. Something like a range rover yes but that's an offroader, my boyfriend had one so I know. I myself have a first generation A-class, however and with my joint issues and the seat being hip level its ridiculously easy to get in and out of as the seat is at butt height. That's more crossover level, I had a luxury sedan before this and hip level was the bottom of the window, so you truly had to lift yourself out which isn't comfortable, especially not for older people or people like me with joint issues. But yes, full blown SUVs are too tall of course, but they're not this.

I am assuming the reason you can't have the sliding infotainment screen to passenger side in Europe is because it would completely block the airbag or even worse in a crash have the airbag turn the screen into a projectile weapon. I know Chinese laws are more relaxed for those cute mini evs, but I'd assume they would have stronger regulations for "real" cars and not allow that.

@chriswang6180 He did say in the review that the sliding screen is "not allowed in the EU spec vehicles" so I assume it's not available here at all even if we get the 4 seater

Peugeot's new style interior has essentially just come out as the new 3008 was revealed just recently. The design has a lot of the same from the previous generation but with more screens however it's still very unique.

What, the plane in the sky? 😅 They're filming around the outer skirts of Stockholm around multiple airports

Probably because stuff like fridges European buyers don't really care about until you go premium level and also for regulatory reasons. The sliding infotainment screen would block the passenger airbag.

I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess they wanted to simplify the opening and didn't want people complaining about an overly large flap if they kept it the same size. The chinese market car has two charging ports side to side so it needs a larger flap while the european CCS plug has the extra pins under the main plug and thus requires less horizontal space.
